Vincent Valdez Chavez Ravine

Vincent Valdez was born in 1977 and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He received a full scholarship and his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2000.

 He has had one-person exhibitions at the Marion Koogler McNay Art Museum, TX 2004, the Snite Museum of Art at Notre Dame, and the Museo Alameda in San Antonio, Texas. He has also exhibited his work at The Parsons School of Design in Paris, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Museum, The Seattle Museum of Art and the Mexican Museum in Chicago. His work is included in numerous collections, both private and institutional nationwide.

A recipient  of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture ‘05, Valdez currently resides in both Los Angeles, CA and San Antonio, TX.
